markettiers4dc campaign for Brahm wins CIPR PRide Award 2008

Last week Brahm won ‘Best Use of New Media at the 2008 CIPR PRide Awards – for its Challenging Perceptions, Changing Opportunities – Digital Campaign, thanks to the help of markettiers4dc.

JIVE (a five-year project funded by the European Social Fund Equal initiative), wanted to raise awareness of the opportunities available for women in science, technology, construction and engineering, and encourage training and returning to work in these industries. The campaign achieved this by using 7 video features, a webchat, radio interviews, an audio feature, and reached an audience of 4.1 million through vodcasts, and a web show live on 21 different websites.

CIPR judges said of the campaign, ‘To communicate success of Jive, a 5 year campaign addressing under representation of women in science, engineering, construction and technology. Innovative use of online media to reach the different target audiences, including web, TV show, podcast and dvd. Content for each medium was well planned and thought through to gain maximum effect. All of which led to impressive results and increase in online traffic to Jive’s website.
